The extensive open area south of the main airport surrounding the existing buildings of Terminal 3, is defined in the TEST PLANNING as „Airport City South“. It is an area of approximately 2.5 x 1.5 km lined at the western edge of the D6 motorway and on the eastern outskirts of Prague D0. Airport City South’s terrain is planar triangular and slightly sloping towards the southern tip. The approximate area of Airport City South is 445 hectares.
Location, orientation towards the world, transport connections and benchmarking make Airport City South an ideal area for development, for the present and for many years to come. The proximity of Airport City North Airport, including existing and planned expressways, makes Airport City South one of the best areas for real estate investment around Prague.
The Aeropolis association joins professionals from all disciplines linked with the planning of complex buildings and territorial units. With this strategy, the association establishes a platform for a broad range of projects with a solid background and possibility to coordinate and establish even the most difficult tasks quickly. At present, Aeropolis has been working on several projects regarding large-scale master planning of the area of the International Airport Prague-Ruzyně, and, the architectural design of related structures for the railway, bus, and car transport.
