Our task was to create a building with a simple and cheap facade, to act as a striking element in the relatively boring street of Radlická, which is formed by very large buildings: multiplex cinema and a newspaper publishing building. The large inscription “angelo” stretches across the entire facade, resembling a stage backdrop as well as clearly identifying the building. Inside the courtyard, we installed a small glass pavilion, which we call the breakfast nook, facing the bamboo forest created inside the atrium. These are utilitarian, small spaces, but even here people can have a pleasant experience.
